Great spot for solo travelers seeking quiet

I must say, the personal welcome I received was something else. The owner greeted me with tea and homemade cookies right when I arrived, like walking into family house and there's cookies waiting.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know, worth every penny.

All the moments associated with settlement, eviction, friendly staff and staffed rooms - great. Simple, quick, friendly. Breakfast is very good - classic Irish and several other options to choose from. There are fruits. Location's a bit of a bust, but I knew it and...  

We like to stay in small hotels. And this time the hotel was just such a cozy, homely, with a live fireplace and a beautiful dining room. It is conveniently located in a quiet and peaceful area. Away from the noisy pubs and close...  

A peaceful retreat with charming surroundings. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and local pubs. Impeccably clean and spacious rooms come with luxurious bedding that ensures a restful sleep. The breakfast was a standout with excellent options, though the pillows were a bit too firm for my liking. I also faced occasional noise from fellow guests during late hours, which interrupted my tranquility.

The staff was very accommodating and the facilities were comfortable and elegant. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I will most definitely return if I am ever in Dublin again!

Really good service and delicious breakfast

We enjoyed a Twin Room with a private bathroom, tv, and tea/coffee maker. The bathroom had a large bathtub, and we appreciated the daily replenishment of towels and free toiletries. Breakfast had amazing fresh fruit bowls and very nice homemade brown bread. The location is ideal, with easy access to the DART train for city visits.

Very warm reception from owner, with helpful tips on travel, restaurants etc.. Ideal for travel to centre of town.Very pleasant large rooms.

Very pleasant home on grand street in great location on the outskirts of Dublin. Enclosed formal backyard with tables for breakfast outdoors. 10 minute walk to Dublin Bay, two town areas 10 min wak for dining, very pleasant breakfast with hot choices and buffet...

Charming hotel, friendly staff, and conveniently located, with a lovely clean room where I enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep and delicious breakfast each morning.

the hotel offers coffee, toast, and muesli for breakfast. the staff is competent and best.

The breakfast options were excellent, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.

The pillows in the Double Room were too firm for comfort.

This hotel comes very close to being in a home of one's own. The staff are very friendly and obliging. Breakfast is excellent. Wifi works well.
